Spec ops the line tv tropes3/13/2023 Yes, that's exactly what they were telling you. ![]() I am sure once things are clarified, I'll love this game because even with my confusion, it's already making me think and wanting to discuss it more. I would also like to hear everyone's thoughts on the game. You could have stopped any time you wanted." What were they trying to tell me? That I should have put down the controller and uninstalled?Īnyway, if someone could please explain this ending to me that would be fantastic. All while forcing me to keep moving forward after Konrad and then saying "Uhhh yeah. The game gave me moments where I had a choice, but suddenly it throws the whole "you were never in control this whole time" thing at me. In all honesty, the convolution kind of made what was otherwise a nice, simple story- peppered with themes of morality, choice and the consequences of those choices- pretty disappointing and confusing. I knew part of the story was going to be just Walker's hallucinations, but I didn't think they were going to make it such a huge part of the plot. The story was really good up until they pulled a "Fight Club", but there's just so much that does not make sense to me or was not thoroughly explained. ![]() If Konrad is not real, then who exactly was Delta squad fighting the entire game? Were the 33rd real? Was the CIA also present? Was Riggs real? Was Radioman real? I am very confused. ![]() So Konrad, I am guessing, killed himself at some point, but when exactly? How long was he just rotting away on that chair?
