It's far better to eat sooner than risk dying. You can wait to cook what you find, but you'll often be running out of inventory space to pick up more cookable food. Consumables drop a lot, moreso than money. There are rumors, but as to what they actually do is not well known. Zophiel statues grace some save points with their presence. I once had to redo a whole dungeon because I discovered two new enemies. Save very often because you will die at unexpected times. A few of the ones who have more than 2 might give you something of value. By default, every npc has two different conversations, so talk to npc's at least twice. Plus, many npc's are important: some give you moonstones/quests, some tell you good intel about the area's secrets, some are required to progress the story. The game is simply built that way, but though it is tedious at times, it gives you so much story and humor. The overworld map has many secret entrances. Get as much resources as you can, rin, health, stamina, and moonstones. You can be more liberal with money when you reach the 3rd town.Įnemies can be challenging. Do your best to collect money and not run out of it at this point. Crossbow and fishing rod are probably 1st priority, then the vest. This can be the least enjoyable part of the game if done improperly. The second town (the one right after panselo) will make money very important. There are so many secrets and the game heavily rewards you for finding them. If you are 0 seconds into the game, you can get supplies by going toĮXPLORE AND EXPLORE and talk to npc's. On the way to the next town, you can get 200+ rin in Sunflower road. The melee enemies don't flinch from regular attacks. Melee and ranged enemies can be found in dungeons. Lunar artifacts come up later as well.Įnemies: Dragon snares are plants that eat you. Treasures: Heart rubies increase your health, energy gems give you more stamina, and moonstones get relevant later on. If you fish for a glowing fish, make sure you are standing on enough land so the loot won't fall into the water. You can buy a fishing rod and lamp, which allow you to explore for more treasure and get more money. If you get amberite, instantly sell it to the Recycler, its only use is to be sold for money. It is located in Rhodus Checkpoint and Daea underground. There is a machine called the Recycler, and you can sell things for Rin. Crossbow is optional but highly, highly recommended. You get a slingshot and can buy a crossbow, both are early game ranged weapons. Gear: Armor and weapons can be upgraded with money, called Rin in this game. The most profitable overworld encounters might be the Arboar ones in Forbidden Lands as their spoils sell decently well. Also recommended to first get the Serpent Rod for easier fishing.īecause hitting certain objects (Fruit, Cactus, Switch, Animals, etc.) counts towards badge progression as well, it is a good idea to keep hitting sturdy foes, such as hitting 2 overlapping Scabers at once. Selling raw fish to Sooty the harpy allows you to earn some extra RIN along the way, so the recommended fishing spots would either be Terrelum (close to Sooty) or World's End (with respawning Gold Dragon Scales). This section is for the "Type-2" badges that requires performing certain tasks a number of times.
